Ordufnifce 2000-47 <br />CONTRACTORS' RETAINAGE ACCOUNT FUND: That there be appropriated from the Contractors' <br />Retainage Account Fund the sum of: <br />Total Budget <br />125,000.00 <br />4,522,425.00 <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw warrants for payment for any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving the proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approval by the Council of Mayfield <br />Village or officers authorized by law to approve the same, or by ordinance or Resolution of Council to make <br />expenditures, provided that no warrant be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by <br />authority of and in accordance with law or ordinances. <br />Section 3: The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its <br />committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate <br />preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that the <br />appropriations authorized herein are necessary to maintain governmental services.
