ORDINANCE NO. 9916 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF PART TIME BUILDING/ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR WHEREAS, the Building Department is in need of a part time Building/Electrical Inspector as hereinafter described, which will expire on December 31, 2000; and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of creating such position. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That there is hereby and herein created the position of part time Building/Electrical Inspector who shall work no more than twenty-four (24) hours per week at the rate of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per hour, as determined by the Building Commissioner. SECTION 2. This Ordinance and the position created hereby shall terminate as of midnight December 31, 2000. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
