Note: Passed by a 4-3 vote. <br />Ordinance to take effect in <br />30 days. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9916 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />CREATING THE POSITION OF PART TIME <br />BUILDING/ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR <br />WHEREAS, the Building Department is in need of a part time Building/Electrical <br />Inspector as hereinafter described, which will expire on December 31, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, Council is desirous of creating such position. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That there is hereby and herein created the position of part time <br />Building/Electrical Inspector who shall work no more than twenty-four (24) hours per week <br />at the rate of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per hour, as determined by the Building <br />Commissioner. <br />SECTION 2. This Ordinance and the position created hereby shall terminate as of <br />midnight December 31, 2000. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio.
