The
Mayor and Council suggest that the Village merely wants to ~~~~
purchase the property for an appropriate public use. Rather, they
would like to have all the whereas clauses thrown out, merely
indicating that the church is desirous of selling, and the Village is
desirous of purchasing the property. -
" 7. They would like a clause indicating that no money is to be paid by
the Village to the church until the church has all the approvals and
ratifiication that they.identify currently in the- contract. This would
mean approval of the congregation, approval of the church district,
and approval for purchase of the property in Chesteriand.
~. 8. They would like to have a rental provision asserted in the contract
if the church holds over the ultimate transfer of possession date,
which I believe is sometime in 2003. They even suggested that
this rental provision be limited to six months only. At the end of
that six months, the property would definitely transfer to the Village.
9. 1n Exhibit C, they want the removal of the word "seller's option."
Apparently, there are several items that can be left in and on the
premises at the sellers option. They want this language removed.
In a nice way, Council instructs us to create .language indicating
that everything should be removed from the building by the church .
unless it is a fixture 2' - ~, "~ ~~`~`-- ~~~`^~~ ~``~'''~
Stu I~LC~.dww ~ ~~.^~~-
