Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORfZING AN AGREEMENT FOR~THE PURCHASE <br />OF REAL ESTATE FROM THE <br />HAYFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH <br />S,~ ~ ~~~3 <br />WHEREAS, The United Methodist Church is planning on relocating and therefore <br />desirous of selling their property located afi 6602 Wilson Mills Road and adjacent property <br />formerly known as 6590 Wilson Mills Road, located at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of S.O.M. Center Road and Wilson Mills Road in Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village has appraised the property, inspected the property, and has <br />determined that the acquisition of the property would sErve the best interests ofthe Village <br />of Mayfield, its Administration and constituents, and thereby advance the health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village and all its residents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAfNED BY THE COUNCIL QF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OH10, THAT: <br />SECTION 1.. That the Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby and herein <br />authorized and directed to enter into an agreement for the purchase and sale of real estate <br />from the Mayfield United Methodist Church, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth <br />in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized #o make payments as called for <br />in Exhibit A out of the appropriate funds of the Village. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that ail formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adop#ion of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption by council <br />and signature by the Mayor or as may otherwise be provided by law. <br />WILLIAM MARQUARDT <br />Council President <br />
