ORDINANCE NO. 99- 35 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 351.13 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD REGARDING <br />PARKING ON FRONT YARDS OR TREE LAWNS <br />WHEREAS, it has been deemed by Council to be in the best interest of the health, <br />safety, and welfare of all Village residents to amend Section 351.13 of the Codified <br />Ordinances, relating to parking on front yards or tree lawns. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAY'FIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That Section 351.13(a) of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of <br />Mayfield is amended as follows: <br />351.13 PARKING Oil FRONT YARDS OR `i REE LAWNS. <br />(a) No person or property owner shall, at any time, park, ar store, or <br />permit to be parked or stored, on residential property, ar~y motor <br />vehicle, truck, tractor-trailer, motorcycle, trailer, bus, boat: or other <br />vehicle, se--f'~f-s~±±-t~~--s~m~, between she residential <br />setback line and the public right of way, e^cept on the drivear~ay andfor <br />lawful turn-around area. <br />SECTION 2. That all other Codified Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield shall <br />r~;main as presently drafted unless inconsistent with this amendment. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance havL= been taken at open meetings of this <br />Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, ire compliance with all stafiutoiy <br />regrirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safet~~ and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village; Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the <br />afFirmc~tive vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the <br />Mayor or otherEVise at the earliest time allatived by law. <br />
