ORDINANCE NO. 98- 05 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />APPROVING CERTAIN LOT SPLITS AND CONSOLIDATIONS <br />RELATIVE TO VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD PROPERTIES <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on February 2, 1998, approved the lot split <br />and consolidation plat relative to property owned by the Village of Mayfield, and <br />particularly known as Permanent Parcel Nos. 831-05-065, 831-05-066, and 831-07-001, <br />831-07-002, same being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit <br />"A"; and <br />WHEREAS, such lot split and consolidation will enhance the development of the <br />Northwest Quadrant, and benefit the citizens of the Village of Mayfield. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the lot split and consolidation plat attached hereto .and <br />incorporated herein as Exhibit "A", and pertaining to the permanent parcel numbers <br />previously mentioned, is hereby and herein approved. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk is authorized to cause such plat to be recorded with the <br />appropriate public agencies as determined by the Village Engineer after same is <br />executed by all appropriate officials and bodies. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the <br />Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />
