WORK ORI3ER NO.8 <br />NORTHWEST QUADRANT PROJECT -S.O.M. CENTER/WIIITE ROAD WIDENING <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION <br />URS GREINER /HAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />AGREEMENT DATED FEBRUARY 3, 1998 <br />This Work Order Task is being performed as an extension of the Professional Engineering Services Agreement <br />between Mayfield Village and URS Greiner (URSG) dated February 3, 1998. All terms and conditions stated <br />therein are incorporated into this Work Order by reference. This Work Order represents new services being <br />incorporated into the agreement as part of the general Modification No. 1. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />URSG will provide the following services to assist the Client in acquiring an estimated 9 acres of strip right-0f-- <br />way take from approximately 81 parcels associated with the widening and reconstruction of S.O.M. <br />Center/White Roads. S.O.M. Center Road would be widened to five (5) lanes for an estimated length oftwelve <br />thousand seven hundred (12,700) lineal foot. White Road would be widened to three (3) lanes for an estimated <br />length oftwelve hundred (1,200) lineal foot. The right-of--way acquisition will be performed in accordance with <br />the Uniform Relocation Act and ODOT polices. <br />URSG shall retain the services of an ODOT prequalified right-of--way subconsultant to assist in <br />documentation/process management, appraisal services, and title exams. The Client shall provide all legal <br />documents, closings and recording of the right-of--way takes. <br />The services to be provided under this work order are as follows: <br />URSG shall prepare preliminary Right-of--Way plans based upon an accepted preliminary plan and <br />profile of the S.O.M. Center/White Road improvements. The Right-of--Way plans shall be prepared <br />in conformance with typical ODOT standards. <br />Based upon the preliminary Right-of--Way plans, theRight-of--Way Acquisition team (the Client, Law <br />Director and Consultant representatives) will hold a coordination meeting to discuss right-of--way <br />protocol and documentation requirements. <br />3. URSG shall prepare appraisals and title exams of each proposed take, consistent with ODOT <br />requirements and will prepare letters to each property owner describing the project, the required take, <br />the property owners rights under the Uniform Relocation Act, and the appraised value of the take. <br />URSG shall mail the letters, utilizing certified mail, to all parties who have been identified as having <br />an interest in the property rights being acquired. <br />URSG shall assist the Client by scheduling meetings with property owners, attending those meetings <br />as necessary, and assisting in the negotiations and documenting the negotiation process. <br />Q:WDM\MAYFIELD\WKORDERS\WKORD8MO.WPD 1 URS Greiner <br />
