MAR. 13. 1998 6:16PM BRANDSTETTEP, CARROLI. <br />PROPOSAL <br />for the Village of Mayfield Aquatic Facility <br />at North Chagrin Commons, Mayfreid Village, Ohio <br />1. Scope of Services <br />Pd0.156~ ?. 3 <br />This proposal for professional services is made to the Village of Mayfield (the Owner) <br />for the North Chagrin Commons Aquatic Facility (the Project) by Brandstetter Carroq <br />Zofcin Inc. (the Consultant)-whereby the Consultant proposes to provide the following <br />services to the Owner on behalf of the Project. <br />The Project includes an aquatic facility consisting of a pool with a sha{low-depth area <br />with zero-depth entry, a general n:creational swimming area with capabilities for <br />competitive swimming, a waterslide and other play features. Support facilities shall <br />include a bathhouse, pool fltration, concession area, concrete deck and shade <br />structures. Site development shall be limited to the aquatic facility project and includes <br />utility service design (sanitary, storm, water, gas, electric, telephone and cable), <br />parking area design to serve the aquatic focility (appcoximately 150 cars), landscaping, <br />lighting and other site amenities associated with the aquatic facility project such as <br />sand volleyball courts, signage etc., exclusive of perimeter trails, as shown on attached <br />partial site plan Exhibit A. The consultant also understands that the final location of the <br />aquatic facility is subject to change pending other site development decisions by the <br />village. <br />The Consultant will co-ordinate the work of the aquatic facility project with site <br />development work being perfom~ed by other consultants on the North Chagrin <br />Commons including infrastructure, roads and wetland mitigation. <br />The preliminary construction budget for the project is attached hereto as Exhibit 8. <br />A. Schematic iDesign Phase -The Consultant will: <br />1. Provide final review of development program as determined by <br />Owner for capital improvements on the site. <br />2. Prepare an estimate of construction cost for all development. <br />3. Prepare schematic drawings which include site plans, pool plans, <br />bathhouse plans and elevations and other documents as <br />necessary to describe the conceptual design of the project. <br />iDeliverablas: Site plan, pool plan, bathhouse plans and elevations, <br />updated preliminary cost estimate <br />
