549.08 GENERAL OFFENSES CODE 124 <br />549.08 DISCHARGING FIREARMS; TARGET SHOOTING. <br />(a) No person shall discharge a firearm or shoot, force or throw by means of a <br />firearm, air-gun or other arm or implement, a lead, iron or other hard substance, <br />within the corporate limits of the Municipality. <br />(b) This section shall not prohibit target shooting by the owner of land and his <br />guests having his written permission on a range approved in writing by the Chief of <br />Police, providing such target shooting is at all times conducted under the direct super- <br />vision of the Chief of Police or by some person designated by the Chief of Police. <br />(Ord. 524. Passed 10-17-55.) <br />(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. <br />549.09 STUN GUN POSSESSION FOR CRIMINAL PURPOSE. <br />(a) No person shall possess or have on his person or under his control any stun gun <br />with purpose to use it criminally. <br />(b) Each of the following constitutes prima facie evidence of criminal purpose; <br />(1) Possession or control of a stun gun under circumstances indicating such <br />stun gun is intended for criminal use; or <br />(2) Possession or control of a stun gun in attempting or committing any criminal <br />offense, or in fleeing immediately after such attempt or offense. <br />(c) Whoever violates any provision of subsection (a) hereof is guilty of a misdemeanor <br />of the first degree. Passed 1-20-86. ) <br />549.10 CRIMINAL USE OF STUN GUN. <br />(a) No person shall lmowingly use any stun gun in attempting or committing any <br />criminal offense, or in fleeing immediately after such attempt or offense. <br />(b) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the <br />first degree.
