509.08 GENERAL OFFENSES CODE <br />509.08 iV1INOR'S CURFEW. <br />(a) No child age twelve or under shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll, play or be <br />present in or upon the public streets, sidewalks, highways, roads, alleys, parks, <br />playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of <br />amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots, business establishments <br />(whether open for business or not), or other unsupervised places in the ivlunicipality <br />from the hours of sunset to sunrise. <br />(b) No child thirteen, fourteen or fifteen years of age,„shall loiter, idle, wander, <br />stroll, play or be present in or upon the public streets, sidewalks, highways, roads, <br />alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, <br />places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots, business establish- <br />ments (whether open for business or not), or other unsupervised places in the <br />ivlunicipality between 11:00 p. m, and 6:00 a.m, local time. <br />(c) No child sixteen or seventeen years of age shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll, <br />play or be present in or upon the public streets, sidewalks, highways, roads, alleys, <br />parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places <br />of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots, business establishments <br />(whether open for business or not), or other unsupervised places in the Municipality <br />between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a. m. local time. <br />24 <br />(d) The provisions of this section shall not apply to a minor accompanied by a parent, <br />guardian, responsible person or a member of his family eighteen years of age or older. <br />(e) No parent or guardian of any child, whom by virtue of his or her age is subject <br />to the provisions of this section, shall allow such child to violate any provision of this <br />section. <br />(f) Any parent, guardian or person charged, factitiously, with a parent's rights, <br />duties and responsibilities who violates this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor. <br />(g) Any juvenile who violates any provision of this section shall be adjudged an unruly <br />child, with such disposition of the case as may be appropriate under Ohio R.C. Chapter <br />2151. (Ord. 90-34. Passed 8-20-90.) <br />509.09 ORDER IN SHOPPING CENTERS, SCHOOL YARDS, PARKING LOTS, ETC. <br />(a) No person shall, on the public portions of any shopping center, business center, <br />school yard, church yard, parking lot or other public place within the Municipality, or on <br />the driveways, sidewalks, malls, arcades, service areas and entrance ways into stores <br />and buildings in such areas: ' <br />(1) Race the motor of any vehicle, needlessly bring to a sudden start or stop <br />any motor vehicle, blow any horn of any motor vehicle needlessly, engage <br />in any race with another vehicle so as to create a nuisance or a disturbance <br />1998 Replacement <br />
