RESOLUTION NO. 2008-07 PAGE 2 SECTION 2: The Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to apply directly to the Cuyahoga County Commisioners through their Department of Development for the following capital infrastructure improvement project: THE PURCHASE AND RENOVATION OF THE 600 BETA DRIVE PROPERTY, ALSO KNOWN AS THE 600 BETA DRIVE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. SECTION 3: The Mayor is further authorized to enter into any agreements as may be necessary and appropriate for obtaining this financial assistance, as approved as to form by the Village Law Director, and in accordance with all authority granted to and limitations upon the Village Director of Finance. SECTION 4: The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that it deals with the filing of a municipal redevelopment application deadline of Friday, February 29, 2008.
