Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF RECOGNITION OF <br />HILLCREST MEALS ON WHEELS <br />WHEREAS, designed to meet the nutritional needs of homebound, handicapped <br />and elderly residents who are unable to shop or prepare meals, Hillcrest Meals on Wheels <br />has played a vital role to the senior citizens of Mayfield Village and surrounding <br />communities; and <br />WHEREAS, Hillcrest Meals on Wheels currently delivers over 22,000 meals a <br />year in the Hillcrest communities; and <br />WHEREAS, through its Program Coordinator, Dorothy ("Dottie") Goldstein, <br />volunteers take special interest in the welfare of the clients. Volunteers boast that it takes <br />"so little time and gives so much comfort to those who depend on this service."; and <br />WHEREAS, Hillcrest Meals on Wheels will be celebrating its Twenty-Fifth <br />Anniversary on May 22, 2008. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section I. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio on behalf of <br />themselves and its residents hereby recognize Hillcrest Meals on Wheels on its Twenty- <br />Fifth Anniversary. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio on behalf of <br />themselves and its residents hereby applaud the hard work and dedication of its Program <br />Coordinator Dottie Goldstein and the many volunteers who have donated countless hours <br />of service for the benefit of the homebound, handicapped and elderly residents. <br />Section 3. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare <br />duplicate original copies of this Resolution. One such original shall be presented to the <br />Hillcrest Meals on Wheels. The other shall be placed in the permanent records of the <br />Village as a lasting tribute to Hillcrest Meals on Wheels. <br />Section 4.
