<br />@M DEFINITIONS. <br />As used in this chapter: "Bicycle" means a two-wheeled vehicle having a rear drive <br />wheel which is solely human powered. "Tricycle" means a three-wheeled adult <br />vehicle propelled by human power having a single front wheel and two parallel rear <br />wheels. "Unicycle" means a one-wheeled vehicle which is solely human powered. <br />As used in this chapter: "Shared-use trail" means a bikewav outside the traveled wa <br />and phvscally senarate from motorized vehicular traffic by an open space or barrier <br />and either within the highway rieht-of-way or within an independent alignment. A <br />manual and motorized wheelchairs, and other authorized motorized and non- <br />motorized users. (ORC 4511.01(PPP)) <br /> 373.04 LICENSE REQUIRED; REGISTRATION. <br /> (a) No person who resides within the Municipality shall ride or propel a bicycle, <br /> adult tricycle or unicycle upon any sidewalk, street, highway, boulevard, public place <br /> orShared-use traiL£or the use of bicycles, adult tricycles or unicycles unless such <br /> bicycle, tricycle or unicycle has been licensed by the Police Deparhnent or other <br /> designated official for such purpose, and the license is attached thereto on the frame of <br /> the bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle for which it was issued. (Ord. 89-41. Passed <br /> 12-18-89.) <br /> (b) This provision shall not apply to any bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle in <br /> transit within the corporate limits of the Municipality, providing that the owner is a <br />4?L resident of another community. <br /> (c) Application for registration of a bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle shall be <br />oid, '. : made by the owner, parent or guardian of a minor to the Police Department upon an <br />ne approved application form furnished by the Police Department. The applicant shall <br /> state his name, address, phone number, make, color, serial number, and/or other <br /> identifying features of the bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle as well as any other <br /> pertinent informarion as may be required. <br /> (d) Upon receipt of the completed application for registration and the required fee <br />race of one dollar ($1.00), the Police Department shall issue a reflectorized license decal <br />uentc... ?;;; valid during the residence of the applicant within the Municipality or the remaining <br /> life of the bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle. Upon sale of a licensed bicycle, adult <br /> tricycle or unicycle the licensee shall remove the license decal. <br /> (e) License decals which are defaced or destroyed, shall be replaced by the owner <br /> for a fee of one dollar ($1.00). <br />.4?1 1 lw
