_ ORDINANCE N0.2015-22 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 1305.01,1305.05, AND 1305.08 OF THE VILLAGE'S <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES TO ADDRESS CERTAIN SITUATIONS WHERE THE <br />ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD IS LACKING A QUORUM. <br />WHEREAS, after review and approval by the Ordinance Review Committee, it is <br />recommended that Codified Ordinance Sections 1305.01, 1305.05, and 1305.08 be amended to <br />address situations where the Architectural Review Board is lacking quorum; and <br />WHEREAS, based upon the recommendation of the Ordinance Review Committee, <br />Village Council deems it in the best interest of the Village and its residents and for the efficient <br />operations of the Architectural Review Board to amend these sections. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 1305, Sections 1305.01, 1305.05, and 1305.08 of the Codified <br />Ordinances are hereby and herein amended to read as respectively set forth in Exhibit "A" which <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent <br />herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Codifer of the Village of Mayfield. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took <br />place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not <br />
