J ORDINANCE N0.2017-11 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO A PLAN AGREEMENT THAT IMPLEMENTS A HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT FOR ELIGIBLE HAYFIELD VILLAGE EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, Mayfield Village desires to implement an HRA plan for its eligible employees along with the preexisting Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan; and WHEREAS, the Village has identified an HRA plan that reimburses eligible Mayfield Village employees for the cost of medical or prescription expenses incurred by them, their spouses, and any other dependents; and WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that it is appropriate for Mayfield Village to enter into a plan agreement that implements an HRA for eligible Mayfield Village employees. '~•. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of Mayfield Village, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a plan agreement that implements an HRA for eligible Mayfield Village employees as set forth in Exhibit "A", which. is attached and incorporated herein. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
