ORDINANCE NO. 2017-28 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO A <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT AGREEMENT <br />WITH CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield has submitted an application for the Coinrnunity <br />Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) through the County Casino Revenue Fund provided by <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the County Casino Revenue Fund is to promote economic and <br />community development within the County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield desires to use the CDSG funds for assistance in constructing <br />the Grove Bandshell; and <br />WHEREAS, Council deems it necessary and in the best interest to the health, safety and welfare <br />of all Village residents to authorize the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a Community <br />Development Supplemental Grant Agreement provided by Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, County of <br />Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1. That Council of.the Village of Mayfield authorizes and directs the Mayor to enter <br />into a Community Development Supplemental Grant Agreement with the Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />SECTION 2. That the Village Mayor and President of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a Community Development Supplemental Grant Agreement with the Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio as set forth in the document attached and incorporated by reference as Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating <br />to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations <br />of this Council and of its committees, resultirig in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the <br />Ohio Revised Code. <br />
