ORDINANCE N0.2017-29 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTIONS 1185.12 & 1185.14 <br />RELATING TO SIGNS REGULATIONS <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary to revise the Codified Ordinance Sections 1185.12 and <br />1185.14 regarding the regulation of signs permitted in the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, Village Council deems it in the best interest of the Village and its residents to <br />amend Codified Ordinance Sections 1185.12 and 1185.14 as set forth below. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of Mayfield Village, Cuyahoga <br />County, State of Ohio that: <br />SECTION 1. Sections 1185.12 and 1185.14 of the Village's Codified Ordinances as enacted <br />be amended to read as more fully set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br />SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent <br />herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Codifer of Mayfield Village. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
