~l <br />ORDINANCE N0.2017-32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR <br />TO ENTER INTO A NEW LEASE AGREEMENT WITH <br />JOHN AND ALYCE ENKLER FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING TO <br />LEASE THE REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 6500 WILSON MILLS ROAD, <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO 44143. <br />WHEREAS, the Village is the owner of residential real estate located at 6500 <br />Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 1, 2013, Mayfield Village entered into a Lease <br />Agreement with John and Alyce Enkler for the residential use of this property, serving as a <br />public necessity and convenience; and <br />WHEREAS, said Lease Agreement with John and Alyce Enkler included a <br />monthly rental amount of $650; and <br />WHEREAS, on May'30; 2017, John and Alyce Enkler were advised by certified <br />letter that said monthly rental amount will be increased by 10% to $715 effective <br />November 1, 2017. <br />WHEREAS, a new Lease Agreement. has been prepared reflecting said monthly <br />rental increase and will be maintained by the Director of Finance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE; OHIO THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into such new Lease <br />Agreement between John and Alyce Enkler and the Village of Mayfield pursuant to the <br />terms and conditions set forth in the Lease which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this <br />Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
