~l ORDINANCE N0.2017-32 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A NEW LEASE AGREEMENT WITH JOHN AND ALYCE ENKLER FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING TO LEASE THE REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 6500 WILSON MILLS ROAD, MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO 44143. WHEREAS, the Village is the owner of residential real estate located at 6500 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143; and WHEREAS, on November 1, 2013, Mayfield Village entered into a Lease Agreement with John and Alyce Enkler for the residential use of this property, serving as a public necessity and convenience; and WHEREAS, said Lease Agreement with John and Alyce Enkler included a monthly rental amount of $650; and WHEREAS, on May'30; 2017, John and Alyce Enkler were advised by certified letter that said monthly rental amount will be increased by 10% to $715 effective November 1, 2017. WHEREAS, a new Lease Agreement. has been prepared reflecting said monthly rental increase and will be maintained by the Director of Finance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE; OHIO THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into such new Lease Agreement between John and Alyce Enkler and the Village of Mayfield pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Lease which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
