<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2016-13 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORISING AND DIRECTING <br />THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />ADDITION OF A NEW POOL HEATER ROOM <br />WITH MELD ARCHITECTS, INC. <br />WHEREAS, the Village desires to add a new pool heater room to be <br />attached to the existing pool filter room at Parkview Pool; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village has solicited several bids and received a proposal <br />from Meld Architects, Inc. for this addition which includes the replacement of all <br />existing filters and related plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, the full <br />scope of such work as outlined in the proposal, attached as Exhibit "A"; and <br />WHEREAS, Meld Architects, Inc. has the expertise, experience, resources <br />and capability to perform this project and is the lowest bid received. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and directed <br />to enter into an Agreement for the addition of a new pool heater room and related <br />work at Parkview Pool with Meld Architects per the attached proposal which is <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings <br />of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section <br />121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
