ORDINANCE NO. 2016-13 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORISING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE ADDITION OF A NEW POOL HEATER ROOM WITH MELD ARCHITECTS, INC. WHEREAS, the Village desires to add a new pool heater room to be attached to the existing pool filter room at Parkview Pool; and WHEREAS, the Village has solicited several bids and received a proposal from Meld Architects, Inc. for this addition which includes the replacement of all existing filters and related plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, the full scope of such work as outlined in the proposal, attached as Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, Meld Architects, Inc. has the expertise, experience, resources and capability to perform this project and is the lowest bid received. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and directed to enter into an Agreement for the addition of a new pool heater room and related work at Parkview Pool with Meld Architects per the attached proposal which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
