ORDINANCE NO. 2016-15 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and. Council as a Whole . AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CODIFIED ORDINANCE CHAPTER 155 RELATIVE TO THE SENIOR CENTER AND COMMUNITY ROOM BUILDING. WHEREAS, the policies for the Senior Center and Community Room Building are set out in Chapter 155 of the Village of Mayfield's Codified Ordinances; and WHEREAS, such policies are in need of updating to reflect changed conditions and recommended practices; and WHEREAS, Village Council has deemed it to be in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of all Village residents to amend Chapter 155. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Chapter 155 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield is hereby and herein amended to read as set forth in Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Codifer of the Village of Mayfield. SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
