After <br />discussion vaas had the Police Department tiva.s instructed to enforce <br />the Villa.ge Ordinance concerning dags running at Iarge. The Clerk was <br />instructed to have printed a card advising the r-esid_ents af the ViTlage <br />of N[ayfieZd of the r.abies situ:ation and notifying them that the <br />Ordinance would be enforced. The Mayor reported a communication from the Civilian Defense <br />Authorities coneerning avraste paper colIection on June 3, 1945. N[r. <br />Heiss offered_ the use of his truck without expense to the ZTillage to <br />collect the waste paper and bring it to a central point. Mr. <br />Zingelmann offered ta help PJirr. Heiss at the time of the callection <br />to assi5t in Ioading the truck. The Clerk was instructed to notify <br />the residents of the Village by mail of this collection shortly before <br />June 3rdand request them to have the paAer on the street in front <br />of their various residences. <br />Ordinance Na. 235 entitled "An Ordinance to Regul.ate the Setting <br />of Grass Fires" was given its second reading. <br />It was th.en moved by Plir.
