MTNUTES OF THE R.EGULAR. P,4EETING HELD DECEMBER 16. 1946. <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in the Toirm Hall in <br />regular meeting on the I6th day of December, 1946, at 8:00 P.nR., Ma.yor <br />Carl C. Scheuring pr•esiding. <br />Roll Call: Present -Messrs. SwansonD Sloan, Parker and Heisse <br />gbsent - Messrso Franz and Zinaelmann. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held November 18' 1946, were <br />read to the Counci-la It was moved by Mr. Heiss9 seconded by Mr. Sloan that <br />the minutes be approved as read. <br />RoIZ Ca11: Ayes: Messrs. Swanson, Sloan9 Rwrker and Heiss. <br />Nays a None o <br />Motion Carried. <br />Minutes Approveda <br />Ma.yor 5cheuring reported to the Councii that Rev. Bro.-,n, Messrs. <br />Sheetz., Schuman, Hadvkins a.nd he had contacted the City Water Director of <br />Cleveland in regard to connecting on to a. water line on SOM Center Road at <br />the village Line. They were informed that.the City could not gra.nt a <br />fra.nchise until the Nottingham plant was completed but that they could have <br />a two inch main from the last property owner in Mayfield Heights Village ru.n <br />into a twelve inch line in the V illage for School and Churcho The last <br />pro_perty owner would be reimbursed by the School. There could be no fire <br />hydrantsm The tarelve inch main would be put in under supervision of the <br />Engineer. There was a general discussion by the Council and it was decided <br />to solicit the opinion of some of the larger property owners. <br />A motion was made by Mro Sloan, seconded by Mr. Parker tha.t <br />permission be granted the Cleveland Electric Illuminating CompanJ to block <br />one pole IJoe 122614 in the East Side of Lander, south of Wilson's MiIIs Road. <br />Roll Call: A,yes - fldessrsa Swanson, Sloan9 Pp-rker and Heiss. <br />Nays - Nonev <br />Motion Carriede <br />A motion was made by Mr. Swt3nson,.seconded by Mr: Heiss that <br />Reverend Brov,m of the Ma.yfield Pdethodist Church be granted permission to <br />place a Church sign in front of the Toevn Hall. <br />RoI1 Call: fi-jres - Messrsa Swanson' Sloan' Parlser and Heisse <br />,Nays - 1Vone a <br />Motion Carried..
