Thereupon, Mr. Zingelmann introd».ced the following resolution; to witm "BE IT RFSOLVED b;r the Council of the Villa.ge of Mayfield that it is necessary to purcha.se fire appar•atus and equipment; that for such purpose it is necessarv to issue th.e bonds of tb.is Vi1la.ge in a.n amount which this council now estima_tes a.s y6y7OOy t'ra.t it is necessary to levy a t•a.x outside of ta.x 1_imitations to pay the interest on a.nd to retire said bonds; tha.t the question of the issuance of said bonds and tYle levy of such tax be submitted -to the electors •of the Village of Ma,yfield at the genez•al election to he hEld therein on th.e fourth da..y of November. 1947; that this council estima.tes ttla_t sa.id bonds will be authorizzd by ordina.nce passed prior to Ju1y 159 194.5; a.nd that tne apnroxima.te da.te of said bonds will be Ja.nuarv l, 1948; tha.t this council estimates tYl-at said bonds will be payab_le in six annual insta.l.lments matur- ing in substantiall.y eaua.l annual amounts during a period of six .years after the a.uthorization thereof; that sa.id boi-ads will bea.r irterest Rt a rate not,- estima.ted a.t two a.nd one-ha-if per centvm per annum.a pa.ya.ble semi-annually.
