Sloan, s econded by Mr. Fraaz, that October 29th, <br />1948.9at 8 olclock,pbg•set as a date for a public hearing on this question <br />at the Village ga11. <br />Ro11 Cal1: Ayes -Pllessrs Franz,Ha.rdsnan,Sloan,Zinglema.Li and Casse <br />Nays - None, <br />Motion Cax'rieda <br />NIrs. Cass then reported to Council tliat the Cemetery Corrnnittea <br />was asking f'or $125e00 from each va.llage as its share in maa.ntaining the <br />cemetery. It was moved by Mrm ,Franz, seconded by Nlro Sloan, that the <br />C1erk be instructed to draw a warrant for thxs amount. <br />Ro11 Ca11: Ayes- Messrs Franz,Hardman,Sloan,Zxngleman and Cass. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Cax°ried. <br />Mr. Sloan then reported that Ilayfield Heights ViLlage was <br />advertising for bids on a 1929 White Truck with a mechanical snrnv plow <br />attached. Mayor Swanson then suggested that a couanittee be fox°raed to <br />inspect this truck and if xt was found to be in such a shape that the <br />villAge eould make use of xt for snaw plowa.ng purposes, or buy it for <br />the snow plotv, that the Clerk be authorited to ptit in a ba.d for th5.s <br />truek not to exceed $350,00, It was moved b3rr1lr. Hardrnan, seconded by <br />Mr. Franz, that a connna.ttee be appoxnted, and after inspectxng this truck, <br />if x^ound to be os use to the ville.ge, that the CZerk ba authorized to <br />put in a bid no-t to exceed $350.00. <br />Roll Ca11: 1?yes- Messrss FY'ariz'Hardmt3,riaSloarisZiriglemall and Cass. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor SvJanson then appointed hlr.
