It was moved by Dr. 'ldaltz, seconded by Mr. Sloan, that the Maintenance Permit of the Ohio Bell Telephone Company be renewed for the year 1954. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan,Scheuring,0atess,Cass & Endress Nays - None. Motion Carried Mayor Swanson read a letter from the City of Mayfield Heights regarcling a 12" water main proposed to be constructed on Ridgbury Boulevard, from the Ridgbury Golf Course to diner Road~T which section is the common boundary line between the City of Mayfield Heights and the Village of Mayfield. The estimated cost of the same is ~2I~,000.00 which would be divided:.equally between the two municipalities. The matter was referred to the Solicitor to obtain more information from the Engineer and the City of Mayfield Heights Pdayor Swanson read a letter from Pdayor tiTills of Richmond Heights requesting the Village•of Mayfield appoint a councilman to act as Chairman of a Citizens Committee to Appose the extension of the County Airport and to work with the Property Owners' Protective Association. The matter was referred to the incoming administration for handling. The Clerk pro tem read a letter from Mayor Swanson in apprec- iation of the flowers sent by the Village Officials and the sympathies extended to the Mayor upon the death of his late Wife, Mrs. Henrietta Swanson. Dr. Waltz introduced Resolution No. 2l~1 entitled: "A Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying them to the County Auditor", which Resolution was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by ~~s. Cass, that the rules of law requiring a Resolution to be read at three separate meetings be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess, Cass & Endress. Nays - None, Motion Carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Dr. udaltz, seconded by Mr. Scheuring, that the resolution be adopted as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess, Cass & Endress.
