Dixon <br />Mayor Hodgson stated that he_has-learned-that Cdr. Brenner, citizen <br />member of the Safety and Service.Committee~ is moving and thus was forced to <br />resign his position. Mayor Hodgson requested the .Clerk to write a letter <br />of thanks to Mr. Brenner for.his-services. <br />Iufayor Hodgson stated that the Police..Clerk, -Jack Crrootegoed, has <br />been forced to resign. Mayor Hodgson also recommended that-the compensation <br />of the Police Clerk be increased to eighty-five centa.(~.85) per case which <br />compensation is fixed by Ordinance at the. present time-at fifty cents per case. <br />Mr. Taylor introduced Ordinance No. 467 entitleds "An Ordinance <br />Amending Ordinance No:. 257 by Increasing .the. Compensation of the Clerk of <br />the T~ayor~s Courttt which Ordinance. was-.read to. Council., <br />It was moved by It~r. Endress and seconded by.Mr. Oatess that the <br />rules of law requiring an Ordinance to.be read on three separate occasions <br />be suspended. <br />Ro11 fall:. Ayes - Messrs Swanson,Endress~Taylor'Whi.ting'Oatess & <br />Beard.: <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr..Taylor and seconded by Mr. Endress. that <br />Ordinance No. X67 be passed as. read.. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Swanson'Endress,Taylor~~afhiting~0atess & <br />Beard. , <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Pay Ordinance.
