Special Meeting -3- June 7, 195l~ <br />Mr. Endress suggested that it would seem to be improper to deviate <br />from~the near Platting Ordinance to be adopted and that the present street <br />conditions v~rarranted care in the approval of any new developments. <br />Mr. h/iiller stated that since the project calls for the completion of <br />homes for sale, it would be to the advantage of the Associated Land and <br />Investment Corporation to complete the improvements® <br />' It~Tr. Taylor stated that allowing the Associated Land and Investment <br />Corporation to use lots having a frontage of only 75 feet for the purpose <br />of construction dwellings thereon might have a weakening effect on present <br />Ordinance No, 408 which requires lots having a frontage of 100 feet and a <br />minimum area of 20,000 square feet when ~ed for such purpose. <br />h!h'® ti~'hiting stated that the Regional Planning Commission has recommended <br />that lots upon which dwellings are to be constructed in the pillage of Mayfield <br />should have a minimum frontage of 100 feet and a minimum area of 209000 square <br />feet, due to the water and sewage facilities available in the Village of Mayfield. <br />Nis'. Taylor suggested that i_f lots having a. frontage of only 75 feet are <br />accepted under the plat before Council, this might give others the right to <br />ask to be given the right to build on lots having frontage of only 75 feet. <br />Mr® Miller stated that the plat before Council should be considered in <br />the light of when it was submitted and that it seemed the prior Ordinance <br />should control the sizes of the lots to be included. <br />hair. 1~tiYhiting reiterated his objections to the acceptance of the plat as <br />submitted due to the major discrepancies between the procedures outlined in <br />the Platting Ordinance and the procedures followed in the pr esentativn of the <br />plat of the Associated Land and Investment Corporation's Ridgebury Boulevard <br />Development® Mr. ~~'ihiting also suggested that it would be proper to reject the <br />plat as submitted, without prejudice to the submission of a neVr plat under <br />the new Platting Ordinance. _ <br />It was moved by 14Ir.
