Minello from the audience <br />asked why the great difference between an assessment of X8.00 per front foot <br />on the South side of Wilson dills as against only X2.00 per front foot on <br />the North side. He stated further that he had asked for bids from a contractor <br />and had a figure of X10®00 per foot for laying a connection from the north <br />to the south side. Mr. A~linello, • using 27 feet as the width of the road, <br />stated that there was not a X6.00 differential on these figures. Our Engineer <br />told Mr. Minello that he thought the figure arrived at came about because <br />the sewer was to be laid on the south property line and the distance from <br />the north to the south property line was 60 feet. <br />Mr. Oatess said that he did not believe people or_ Wilson Mills could <br />or wanted to pay for a low pressure line at this time. <br />Mr. Swanson then introduced Ordinance No. 188 entitled "An Ordinance <br />Approving Plaazs for Installation of Intercepting and Outlet Trunk Sanitary <br />Sewers in Ivanhoe Road, Belvoir Boulevard, Greenvale and Green Roads", which <br />ordinance was read to Council. <br />Mr.•Beard then introduced Ordinance No. x.89, entitled: "An Ordinance <br />Approving Plans for Installation of Trunk Sewers, Se?rage Pumping Stations, <br />Force 1Tains and Appurtenances in Wilson Bills .Road and Beach Hill Road", which <br />Ordinance was read to Councilo <br />Mr. T~thiting then asked to have the clerk write property owners on <br />Wilson Mills, asking if they were in favor of the low pressure main at this <br />time and their opinion of the X8.00 per front foot assessment. <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter from Mr. W. C® Gunselman, asking <br />that Council change the range site of the 1`jayfield Junior Rod and Gun Club <br />from 698 S.O.M. Center Road to 150 S.O.M. Center Road. Mr. Edelman then read <br />Ordinance No. 158, which covered this and stated -that it was up to our Police <br />Chief. The matter was then referred to the Police Department. <br />T~ayor Endress then read a letter from the Zoning ~ Planning Commission, <br />stating that it was their unanimous recommendation that steps be taken to <br />incorporate Athletic Clubs in a U~6 class in such a way as not to eliminate <br />the operation of a restaurant and bar as part of the function of an athletic <br />club. Mr. Swanson stated that Zoning & Planning Comnu.ssion had a meeting <br />w:i.th var. Reed, Tlr. Uh1ir and Mr. Swanson present. Mr. Swanson stated that <br />the Committee did not want to kill the Tennis Raque:b. Deal, but thought it <br />could come before council before a public hearing. He stated that this <br />wasn't voted upon, but was just an informal expression. I~r. Strater said <br />• that he was not in favor of any project that had a bar and included children <br />or teen-agers in their plans. l~r. tidhiting then asked if there had been ~eny <br />change so far iri Tennis Raquet plans and Nlr. Endress said not so far as he <br />knew. N~ayor Endress then returned the letter to the Zoning Committee for <br />further actiono <br />7. <br />
