1 <br />I~ir. Pusinski then thanked Council and was presented with another <br />"gripe" before he could sit down. I`Zr. Beard stated that a number of people <br />on Ridgebury were Having trouble zrith the county seNrer and flooded basements. <br />fir. T'usinsYa. said he was aware of this and that a portion of this sewer would <br />have to be replaced. The County hoped to get it started this year. <br />Nkayor Endress then asked Council to consider the Budget presented <br />by the ~`inance Committee. After careful consideration, r1r. 1nl~iiting intro- <br />duced Ordinance Teo. Z~92 entitled: ""An drdinance to Itilake Appropriations <br />for Current and Other E~,-penses of the Village of rlayfield Ohio During the <br />Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 1955", tiiil7,ch Ordinance was read .to Council. <br />It t~ras moved by N1r. Strater, seconded by IZr. Taylor, that the <br />rules of latir requiring an ordinance be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - liessrs S~~ranson,Strater,Taylor,~lhiting,Beard <br />and Oatess. .. <br />Nays - None® <br />I`Iotion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by T'2r. Taylor, seconded by T~Zr. Oatess, that Ordinance <br />No. 492 be.passed as read. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - T'Iessrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor,T~'niting,Beard <br />and Oatess. <br />Nays -None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />T'Ia.yor Endress then read a letter from the Standard Oil Co. in <br />which they proposed to'install a:~_1000 gallon tank and gas pump without <br />charge, and furnish the village with gasoline and oil at tank truck rates. <br />This was discussed by Council, but because we used less than 5000 gallons <br />a year and already received a two cent a gallon discount from our local <br />stations, what little saving effected would not warrant talon; the business <br />out of the village® Cour_cil then asked the Clerk to call on our local <br />gas stations and find out just what discount they were wiling to give <br />the village. <br />Another letter from Ohio Be11 Telephone Co. enclosing the annual <br />maintenance permit for renewal, was presented to Council for their approval. <br />It. eras moved by P'~r. ti~lziting, seconded by I'Tr. Oatess, that this permit be <br />reneired. . <br />Roll Call: Ayes - ~'lessrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor,Zl'niting,Beard <br />and Oatess. <br />` motion Carried <br />Permit Renewed <br />~+. <br />
