Strater, then introduced Ordinance No. <br />526 entitled, "An Ordinance giving the Consent of the Village of Mayfield to <br />the Removal of Snow and Ice From Certain Roads Within the Village", w'~.ch <br />ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Tyr. Swanson, seconded by Mro Beard, that the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended. <br />Roll Call Ayes - T~Tessrs Taylor, Strater, Beard, Oatess & Swanson. <br />Nays ~ None. <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Tlr. Beard, seconded by Mr. Oatess, that Ordinance <br />No. 526 be approved and passed as read. <br />Ro71 Cana Ayes - Messrs Strater, Taylor, Beard, Oatess and Swanson. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance passed <br />Our Engineer reported that lie had checked the Water Main petitions <br />from Glenview Road and 70.11 of the front footage was represented. Mr. Edelman <br />said that there was a question as to whether it should be 75 percent of people <br />or frontage and, as it was a legal question, he would check on it. <br />Nir. Edelman reported on the liability insurance policy for the police <br />car, and read a letter from Aetna, tiraiving the no liability clause, and another <br />from ilr. Price at Columbus, in which he stated that the Attorney General had <br />ruled that it would be spending taxpayer°s money illegally, as there was no <br />liability. Mr. Edelman advised Council to forget the matter. <br />The Finance Committee having looked over the pay ordinances, it was <br />moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Strater, that Pay Ordinance No. 386-P be <br />approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Callen Ayes - Messrs Taylor, Strater, Beard, Oatess and Swanson. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />12otion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed 7. <br />
