1 TLayor Stivai'~son announced that one member of Council was to, be elected by Council to the Planning Cozmnission for a term of one year. T~4r. Godfrey, seconded by It~Trs, Cass, nominated i~Itr. Taylor. There being no further n'omina-cions a vote was taken and IGlr, Taylor eras declared unanimously elected. Mayor Svra~ason reappointed Tire Siplock to 'the Planning Conrnissior, for a term of six years expiring December 31, 19550 T~'Ire Taylor, seconded by Tyr. Scheuring, moved to confirm. this appointment. Roll Call: Ayes - T~iessrs Hardman, Taylor, Godfrey, Cass, Scheuring and Ha11 Nays - Noue.e T!iotion Carried Appointment confirmed. TtZayor Syranson noted that lt~ire Taylor" s former office on the Planning Cormnission, for the year expiring December 31, 1953, was made vacant by his appointment as Council member of the commission.
