<br />Mayor Swanson raised the question of improva.ng the plat submitted
<br />by the Associated Land and Investment Company,' A Nlr, Swanson of that company
<br />addressed Council in this connection, stating that the nompa'cy plans to install
<br />water lines and severs and to construct a good slag road 50 feet wide® He stated
<br />that the company was willing to comply with the requirements of Ordinance No. 258
<br />and to post a bond for the construction of such a road,
<br />Mr0 Hall introduced Ordinance No, .350 entitled: "An Ordinance to
<br />Amend Section 1 (14) of Ordinance No® 258 by Elim3.nating the Necessity of Installing
<br />Sidewalks in Tdew.Subdivisions", which ordinance was read to Council, It was moved
<br />by M~, Godfrey, seconded by Mr. Schouring, that the rules of law requiring an
<br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended®

<br />Associated Land and Investment Company subdivision on sanitary conditions in the
<br />area, I3e rvques-ted Council to determine whether 84 septic tanks in one area such
<br />as they. proposed would have a bad effect upon sauitaiy conditions®

<br />Safety Committee study the problem involved with -the operation o_f the seT,ver
<br />pumps and report to Council,
