Mr. Steve Pappa was sworn in by Mre Arnold M. Edelman, a Notary <br />Public, as Special PolicematZ for a six mouth probationary period <br />Mayor Stiaransou suggested an erection of a flag pole on the front <br />lawn of the Town Ha110 It was moved by ~2r. Hardmala, seconded by ~Ir® <br />Godfrey, that such a pole be purchased and installed. <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Ivlessrs Harcbna,u, Seheuriug, Taylor,Godfrey & Cass, <br />Nays -None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor Swausou referred the details of procurement and erection <br />to the Building Committee. <br />Mayor Swausou brought up the subject of Village licensing pin <br />ball machines in the Village. It was moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Mr. <br />Harman, that this be referred to the Finance Committee. <br />Roll Calls Ayes -Messrs Hardma.~a,Seheuring,Taylor, Godfrey <br />Cass and Hall . <br />Nays - Noue <br />Motion. Carried <br />mayor Swanson read the Police and the Traffic Court roports <br />which were as follows: <br />Mayor°s Court Traffic Report: From May 15 to June 19, 1950, <br />55 cases vaere handled and the amount of X705®40 <br />was collected. Mayor Swax~sou made the- appointment.
