Mr. Hall read the minutes of the last meeting of the Safety ComnS.ttee. Mayor Swanson appointed D(ir. Kader as Director of Civil Defense. It was moved by Mr. Hardman, seconded by 112r. Ha11, that this appointment be approved. _ Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs Hall, Hardman,Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey and,, Cass. Nays - No74e. Motio+,: Carri ed Appointment Approved The Chief of Police reported that the Redifer Bus Co¢npany ~a,d Mrs.. Van Curen have agreed that bus turns will be made on the Van Curer property in front of the old drive-in restaurant. Mr. Godfrey introduced Ordinance No. 359 entitled:"An Ordinanco to Amend Ordinance No. 309, entitled: ~An Ordinance to Regulate Traffic on the Stroets and Public. Highways in the Village of Mayfielde and Repealing Ord3.nai~ces Nos. 5, 90 acid 3071 by adding certain provisions applicable to Bicycles", which Ordinance wa.s given its first readings IUlayor S~=re.;~son r©ad a letter dated August 29th, 19b0, from the attorney for IIr. Bordorano concerning parking i.n front of the storo. It was moved by Mrs._ Cass, seconded by :nor. Scheur.~ng, that Council accept. the suggestions contained in the letter Roll ca11: Ayes m Messrs Hall, Hardman, Scheuring, Taylor, Godfrey. and Cass. Nays - None. . Motion Carried It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by I~r. Taylor, that no parking signs be posted or all four corners of SOPS Center.
