Dixon <br />Ordinance No. 3I~.8-P was read by the Clerk. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Dr. V~laltz, that the Ordinance <br />be"'passed as read. <br />Ro]1 Call: Ayes - tiValtz, Sloan, Nndress, Cass and Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />lt2otion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. .Sloan reported that several of the men had seen a demonstration <br />of the lilectric Speed-Control Unit, and in talking with others who have <br />already insta]1ed such units find that they have proved very worth v~rhile. <br />They seem~to pay for themselves, in addition to cutting down on the speed <br />through the villages. Dr. Waltz suggested ,that any action on purchasing <br />the unit, be held off until Mayor Swanson returns home. It was noted, <br />however, if the purchase is put off another month, and it takes several <br />weeks to get delivery on the unit, it would 'hardly be worthwhile, as we <br />will be getting into the bad weather. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />6. <br />
