Dixon, Police Chief <br />Mr. Nelson Porter, Fire Chief, entered the meeting and reported <br />that the Government has purchased fire equipment which will be distributed <br />to outlying municipalities for approximately 25~ of the actual cost of the <br />equipment, if such municipalities can show their need of this equipment. <br />He felt that someone should be designated to attend this meeting to see <br />what the possibilities of our Vi]lage getting some of this equipment might be. <br />50 <br />~1 <br />1 <br />3 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />17 <br />Mr. Sloan moved that Nelson Porter be designated to attend this <br />meeting, to look for new equipment, and that he be reimbursed for the day's <br />wages he would lose at his regular yJOrk.
