Mr. Ede]man said this would clear,up some of the red <br />tape, if passed, <br />Mr. Taylor, reportang for the Finanee Commi.ttee, presented a notice <br />asking villagers to be sure and designate Mayfield Vi].lage an their automobile <br />license app].icatian, as this was the only way iae obtained any tax money from <br />licenses. Mr. Tayl.or asked Mayor Enaress to see that thESe were placed i.n <br />mail boxes throughout the vi.l7.age. <br />Mr. Taylor then said that9 owing to personal reasons, he is acquirzng <br />a residence ou-tside the village and would resign at the next rneeting. Mr. <br />Taylor said that he had enjoyed his work on Couneil and it was a p;,rivilege <br />to work wit.h everyone. <br />Mayor Endress said that everyone appreciated the work 14rs Taylor had <br />done and Mr. Strater said that it would be a long time until some one was <br />four,d that could fill his shoes. Mayor Endress then asked that the Clerkk <br />send a letter° of appreciation to 14r. 2'aylors Nro Peterson reported that he had been mald.ng a survey for the Qui:glys; <br />tha.t they were quite sincere in wanting to build an incinerator. He said <br />that no contract had been let as yet; that there was nothing but a proposal <br />so fara iqayor Endress asked if they Uaere go3.ng to ask the vi..llages to <br />he1p finance t,his project. Mr. Peterson said that they were only working on <br />the incineratox° cost so fare Mr. Leach then read a letter from Gates Mil]_s' thanking the Vi7.lage <br />for the aid given by the Fire Department on January 7, 1959, and for aid <br />during the floodo <br />Mr. Strater then said that Council might consider doing something for <br />the Quigleys9 a s it would be the cheapest way out for us. <br />NIr.
