A reprQsentative of.Kenwood Gardens'then spoke of a temporary pavement <br />in this a 1lotment and asked permission to build two houses and said that there <br />would be no occupancy until the perrnanent pavement was in. Our Engineer said <br />that it was customary to issue permit.s so that builders could build during the <br />winter. ZZr. Edelman said that, inasrnuch as we had a bond for the permanent <br />paving, it was a11 righ•t to issue a building permit as Tong as the temporary <br />pavemen-t and underground improvements have been installed, <br />Police Chief Shortle then reported that Mr. Charles L. Litman had <br />served his six months probationar;y period as policeman arxi recommended that he <br />be appoint.ed as a permanen.t policeman for the Vill.age of Mayfield. Mayor <br />Endress then appointed Mr. Charles L.
