I -,1 Minutes of the Special Meeting February 19, 1960 The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in special meeting at the Town Hall at 7:30 P. M. on Friday, February 19, 1960, pursuant to notice given to all members of Council aceording to law, Mayor Endress presiding. Roll Call: Present-- Messrs Zorn, Wedler,Bennett, Brown & Grootegoed. Absent - Mre Belzer. Ordinance No. 69,0 entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 309., the Traf£ic Ordinance of the Village of.Mayf ield, by Adding Section 18.1, Defining Drag Racing, Prohibiting Drag Racing on the Public Highways and Imposing a Penalty There£or", was again read to. Councilo ,- It.was moved bq Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that the rules of laio requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorns Wedler, Bennett, Brown & Grootegoed. Nays - None. Motion carried Rules suspended It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Zorn, that Ordinance No. 690 be approved and passed as read, Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Brown, &:Grootegoed. Nays - None. . Motion carried Ordinance Passed Ordinance No. 691, entitled: "An Ordinance Accepting the Bid of L. J. Trotter, Ine. for the sale to the Village of Mayfield.of a Service Truck" was again_read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Wedler, secondedby Asr. Zorn, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler, Bennetz, Brown and Grootegoed. Nays - None. , Motion carried Rules Suspended It was .moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that Ordinance No. 691 be approved and passed as read, Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown & Grootegoed.
