Mayor Endress then read a letter f rom I?ayf ield'Heights with reference to <br />our token payment on the repair o£ this road. Mayor Endress said that most of' <br />this condition caas caused by truclcs from Golden Gate not being allowed on SQM <br />or any of the streets but funneled over Ridgebury in our Village. Mr. Belzer <br />suggested that.we write Mayf ield Heights a letter and state our thoughts on the <br />matter and.say that they did not consult ous Service Department or ask us <br />anything about the road, but just went in and f ixed it up without saying anything <br />to us. Mr._Bennett said that they should be told that they had $400.00 of our <br />money and were over-paid,.as.most of the traff ic on this road was from their citye <br />Our Engineer having brought in plans and specifications and estimates <br />f or water in.Worton Park, these figures were read to Council, <br />. <br />Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, then introduced Resolution Noo <br />499 entitled: "A Resolution Declaring the Necessity,to Improve Worton Park <br />Drive, Woodlane Drive, North Woodlane Drive' South Woodlane Drive, and Norman <br />Lane Drive by the Construction of Water Mains and Appurtenances" which <br />resolution was read .to Council, ` <br />It-was moved by Mr.. Grootegoede seconded by Mra Belzer,_that the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be Tead on`three separate occasions be <br />suspended,. <br />Roll Call: Ayes ? Nlessrs ZornaWedler,Bennett,BrocrosGrootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - Nonea , <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended It was moved by Mrs.`Brown, secondea by Mr. Belzer, that Resolution No. <br />499 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zoxn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzero <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />:Mro Edelman then reported that he had received a letter from Mr. Kaplan <br />submitting easements fos water on three streets.` This' is f or the allotment <br />just West of Kenwood Gardens. Mr. Edelman said that he had checked and these <br />easements were in the proper f orm.. <br />Mr,.Belzer, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, then in.troduced Resolution No. <br />500 entitled: "A Resolution Approving and Accepting Easements For the Installation <br />of 6Jater Mains in Proposed Elizabeth Drive, Victoria Drive and Elsena Drive Given <br />by UCF Realty Corporation", which resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by-Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolation to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />5.
