<br />Mayor Endress then reported that Quigley Disposal had hand(ad us a new <br />proposal for Rubbish and Garbage Disposal. Gabbage could be picked up once <br />a week for $150.00 per_montn, or garbage and rubbish every two weeks for $395,00 <br />per month, or a dumping fee for $60.00 per month, A4ayor Endress -t'hen said <br />that he thought the comp].ete coverage was the best propositi?on, Mlr. Wedler, <br />seconded by Nir. Edelman then notif ied Council that a lawsuit-had been.filed -by <br />Mr. Samuel Wellm,anand the Metropolitan Park Board and others against the <br />Village of Mayfi?eld, the Niayor, Council, the Zoning and.Planning.C:ommission, <br />and the Building Inspector, to obtain a Declaratory Judgment and :Injunction <br />against Mr. Cutting and others to desist from building High Rise Apartments <br />on the Hollis pr,operty - so calleda Tt was then moved by Mrr Groutegoed, <br />seconded by Mr.,Bennett, that Nlayor Endress instruct our Solicitor, Nir, <br />Edelman, to begin the defense work on this laxosuit. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Niessrs Wedler, Bennett, Grootegoed and Belzer. <br />Nays - None. ? <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Endress then said that he appreciated very much the time and <br />eriergy spent in the last two years by members of Council and the.Comnittees <br />and expressed the thought that everyone had done the best possible for_the <br />Village of Nlayfield and that,the incoming Council would.be.-faced with a <br />bigger job than ever; that they had the Regional Planning deal to straighten <br />out and that it woul.d :take. a.lot of effort; that Council shou.ld go.over <br />ttie entire plan and make recommendations. • <br />Mr. Grootegoed then thaniced Council for being so tolerant_dur.ing the <br />last thxee Xears and wished every one a Merry.Christmaso Mayor Endress then <br />told Council that he was goi4g to miss r1r.
