The r7inutes of the Special i'leeting of Ma.y 249 1956, wers then read <br />to the Cauncil. It was moved by Mx°. This letter informed Council that, because of <br />precedent9 the water main wou:Lci Yave to be e?.?tended across the entire <br />frontage of the We].]aman property and an infoxma1 estamate set the cost of a <br />72" water ma3n at $9,685.00 less $651a00 ( Ui7.1age portian) or a total of <br />$92034e00. Tlu.s report was then turned over to the Safety and SexKri.ce Commztf,ee. <br />. <br />The qtzestion of dedicatin.g the remaining streets•• irithe Worton Park <br />section again came up for discussion and Mayor Endxess reported that our <br />Engineer, in cltieclting signatures on the rear section' again found that there <br />were 3nsuff3.cient signa.tures and this street would ha.ve to be left out. <br />There was a considex°able discussion on dedication and a cliffer,ence of opinion <br />as to the-next step to talm in the declication procedurea At this point <br />NTro Ede].man told the Worton Park Associat;ion that they must have a dedica- <br />tion Pla.t and a Guarantee of__ Tit].e before anythang else could be done, <br />Ma.yor Endr?ess -?hen asked our Engineer to take whatever steps are necessary <br />tc clear up tlus ma.tter so that these streets could be dec'icated at our <br />nExt Council Yieeting.
