He wanted immediate reLief. Five or sax <br />otheer residents of Riclgebury, Ueing present9 arose and added theix° voices <br />to this tale of woe, statin.g that they wex•e in similar preclicaments. They <br />,askecl that 'Uhey be given de£3.nite assurance that something be done. <br />Ma.yor Endress then r eported on a meeting attended by a1l our Cow.zcil, <br />RicYnnond Heightsa and Highl,and Heights and aur Engineer, held at Highland <br />Heights oh June 15th. . Mayor Endress went on to say that he realized the <br />serious nature of these sudden floods and the matter was discussed from <br />every angle and some means-sottght to recti.fy the situa.tion. As this was <br />mostly a county matter, a meeting had been set for July 17, 1956, at our <br />-Town Ha7.l at which ti.me our Council, cauncilmen fromthe other two villages, <br />and our Engineer were to sit_dowm with the tYree County Commissioners and <br />1111r.
