Mr. J. Davis, tifho had purchased a lot on Ma.ple Grove from Mr. Jahco, <br />which figared. in .ths vacation of the south end of I'da,ple Crrove, advised Council <br />that he was desirous of building on 'Uhis lot and asked what he should do to <br />get a sezier and water to this lots Mro Edelman advised that he could petition <br />the Village and have it clone and assessed against the property9 or carry <br />through the mat•ter himself., This brought- out the fact tha.t Mro Davis did <br />not know where the boundaries..of Maple Grove were, and he was agaSn advised <br />by Mr. Edelmari t11at the contractor who hancL3:ed the water and sewer would te11 <br />h3m where the road line was. <br />Mr. Norman Reed, a residerrE of Wilson Mi11s Road, then stated that <br />it was becomino unsafe to wa1k near the road in his section of the vi]lage <br />a.nd wi.shed to have the sidewalk line defined as he thought the neighbors <br />might do somethi.ng about construct3ng sidewa3ks. Mayox° Endress stated that <br />he had been unable to find out, definitely just what the County in.tend.ed to <br />do about Uridening Wilson M3.17.s Road as they irisisted upon talking of storm <br />sewers first, and until we lanew just ha%T wide the road was to be, nothing <br />could be done about side walkso <br />Mro Reed tnen asked that somethin; be done about the parking across <br />from Fisher° s Tavern. He said that cars parked an tlv.s area were obstructing <br />the view of- S. 0.171, From the mouth of Thornapple Drive. As this tqas a pol-ice <br />ma-ttex°, 1'2r. Di,xon was asked to z.n.vestigate and do whatever seemed neeessary <br />to clear the view soutlz on S.O.M. Road. <br />Mr, George Zorn stated that he had constructed a water ma3n and sewer <br />on IL-tro Park Dx°ivs,, and wondered wha.t he could do to get the street cledica-tede <br />I''r.,_ Ede]man advised that he would have to c onstruct pavement to Vi7lage <br />speciiications and then make appl:ication for dedication. There was some <br />misunderstancling at this posnt over the temporar,y pavin.g on the south end <br />of Worton Park Drive' but it was explained to I'Jr. Zorn that this was a <br />temporary measure to keep from ruining a permanent road during construction <br />of a seUrer and water main and that in this case a permanent pavement was <br />not to be constructed un-til these improvements were a_n. <br />Mr. Hopkins then reported on the Sw:urn-dulg Pool to be erected and <br />advised Council that this pool was to be protected by a fence Vrhich would <br />be kept ].ocked except wnen the pool was used under supervision.
