Hop%i.n.s, that <br />the rLinutes be approved and passed as read. - <br />Ro71 Call a Ayes - Mes srs Wedler, Strater, Br%m,Fa1k and Hopki.ns o <br />Nays - None. . <br />=g7otion carxied <br />' Minutes approved <br />Mayor Endress then asked far reports fram the'various committees. <br />As ths Zoning and Plan ning Connission had no otner business scheduled., <br />tlzey did not me-t and had no report,to malce on increasing 1.ot sizes in septic <br />tank axeas., although ordered to do so by Council.' <br />Mr. Strater, reporting for the Sa.fety and Service Commi-ttee, was mzder <br />the 3mpression that it was necessary to advertise for 30 days f or a police <br />car and aslced that the matter be discussecl so that they could adveri;ise by <br />the second week in Sep-tember. rgayor Endress then advi.sed that the Plymouth <br />Agency in our Vi7lage Uras very desirous of bidcling and, ha.d asked that the <br />specifications be made to inc7.ucle a 1'lymouth, promising par{;s at cost, a <br />reduction in repairs and a car when the police car was out of service for <br />rzpais°s. There was a great deal of discttssion in Council on the matter z,rith <br />most of the factors of a po1.l.ce car taken ur_der consideration. It TrTa.s fina2l.y <br />decided that the Safety Commi.ttee wou7.d give the matter iut°ther stud,y and <br />were adv:i.sed by the 1,Ta.yor to build the specifications around a heavy duty car. <br />Nra HoplQSi.s reported that there was nothing to report from the <br />Biz:i.lding Connnitteee <br />Mayor Endress then took up the matter of e_sctra po7.a.ce ta.me and adv3.sed <br />that, if we were to gei the maximum use of our radar during, the summer montkis, <br />the 32 hours max.imum time per week f or extra police would have to be changed. <br />He asked that this tim3 Ue donbled at the discretion of the PoLice Chief and <br />the Mayors Mr. liedler, seconded by Nr.
