It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Pir. Hopkins, that Resolution <br />jio. 408 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Ta,ylor'UJedler9Strater'Brown'FaTk and Hopkins. <br />a Nays - Noneo , <br />, Motion carried <br />Resolution passed <br />Mr. Edelman reported that no-tices on the vacating of Beechhill South of <br />Bonnievi.ew had been posted, but that he had a letter from the County objecting <br />to this vacation. They said that they expec-ted to set up a new sewer district <br />in the future and would need access to this property on Beechhill, Mr. EdeZman <br />pointed out that9 if the road were vacated, they would sti].1 have access over <br />their port3.on of the road rahich would rever-t to them. There was some doubt <br />as to their receiving the proper-ty on their side of Beechhill. Mr. Edelman <br />advised that more time Uroul.d be needed to see what would deveZop. <br />Mr. Edelman reported for the information of Council that the Stofcho- <br />Garvas case wou3d come up for trial November 18th, 1957. <br />Mro Ed.elman repor-ted that he had written the Niayor of Willoughby Hills <br />with reference to a moral clai?ns incurred when our tanker ran down the hill. <br />He had not heard from t he Mayor, but had heard from some of the people irivolved, <br />who claimed that theytere not s ight see-ers. <br />Mr. Taylor reported that the Finance Committee had met, bu-t had no-thing <br />of importarice to report, and were meeting again next Monday. <br />The East Olzio Gas Compariy having requested approval of plans covering <br />proposed cons truction of gas main and service be-tween sidewalk,-and curb ctn <br />the north side of Ravine Drive at Robley Lane as indicated in red on their <br />enclosed print of drawing No. D-8103 dated September 10' 1956, it Uras moved <br />by 1ir. Strater, seconded by Mr. Falk, that approval be granted, subject to <br />property oUmers' consent. r <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Taylor9Wedl.er,Strater,Brown, Fa1.k & Hopkins. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion cqrried <br />Approval Granted <br />Mayor Endress then asked Mr. Edelman if a meeting could be held in the <br />Totan Hall on Monday avening when the Election Booths were being set upo Mr. <br />Edelman said that he could see no harm in this.
