There was a great deal of discussa.on with reference to rates <br />and comparisons made witdi those charged by eur prev3.ous engineer' and the fact <br />that rlr. Peterson wi.shed to be paid to attend couxicil meetings w'nich t,rere not <br />re7.ated to some job on whieh he woru7.d be wos°king. ' It was decided that the <br />contract shou7d be changed so that some one.would be in attendance at Counci.l <br />meetings and that he should be paid for these meetangs except when worls3.ng on <br />some project,. <br />Mr. Strater, seconcied by_N1r. Agai.n the matter <br />was discussed, s,ritah Mr. Tayl.or givi.ng a full explanation of the contract as he <br />understood it; the ma3n dffieu].ty being that Courici]. felt tha°t Mr. Peteason <br />should not represen°? ar?yonie e].se in the vi.7lage while represent3.ng Counc3].. <br />l.
