Mayor Endreas remarked that ther°e had been no consideration given to <br />storm water cor'ditions in our area 'by -the -Coun.ty in arly of the3r planni.ng. <br />Mayor Endress then spoke af the origixial plan whi,eh considered an easernent fvr <br />a drainage ditch for Rob7.ey Zane. Mr. Peterson did not ttnow anqthing abotit <br />this. Mayor Endress also said that Mr. Robley had asked h3m what was required <br />to get Robley Lane in shape for dedi.cation ancl asked wlio would stard the <br />eragineer3xg fee's for thi.s. Mr.-Peterson said it would rzn aroumci $100•00. <br />Mayor Endress said that the ContraGtor had gone bankrupt and the bonciing <br />company wished to go ahead with the work. <br />It was then moved by Mrs. Browa, see4nded by Mr. Hopkins, that no <br />work be done by our engi.neer until Mrr. Mr. Peterson said he <br />did not see or work on -thi.s 'project., but wotzld not doubt that the water oa <br />Robley Lane would be mnad colored, but that it did not- add ara ounce of saat,er <br />to t,l1e overflow. Mr. Peterson was then asked, if he thought Robley Zane <br />shobz].d hav+e..thi.s ditch and honr they would get it. Mr. Peterson said he coia].d <br />make no comnent at this t:ime. Mayor Endress replied that Mr. Gabriel 23ad <br />said that there was an easement for a ditch in the origin.al development, and <br />Mr. Robley had said that no easement was given. Yx. Muell.er., the resident <br />asking the qTZestions' then said that in his opinian the water shou].d go under <br />tbe road as it was a nortlli-sout,h road and the water eaurse was east.arad west <br />and that andr present cu].vert was -not big enough t,o carry this water. Mre <br />Peterson said that he woul.d look at th3.s phase of the matter mhen insPecting <br />the road. <br />Mr. Peterson then reported that he Iiad reee3ved two bids for the <br />Worton Park paviitg'the lowest being-from the OtNeill Construction Compan,y <br />for $4,760.00 and that none of the prices were exorbitant. Thi.s was a uni.t <br />bid and eoil.d possibly be done for less if some of the work estimated was found to <br />be unnecessary. A-representative of the Worton Park Association aaid that he <br />,430.00 and was $610.00 short; that he did not think he cou7ld <br />had eol].ected $4 <br />. <br />collect -any more; that 51 out of 59 residents had paid and the ofi.hers were <br />firaancially unable to.
