M.9 P?ayor Endress presidingo <br />Roll Calls Present - Messrs Taylor.,Wedler.,Strater'Brown'Zorn-& Hopkirs. <br />° Absent - None. -The Mirlutes of the regu7.ar meet.ing of October 209 1958, were reaci t,o <br />Council. It was raoved by Mr. Taylor., seconded by Mr. Wedler., that the Minu-tes <br />be approved as read. <br />Ro11. Ca7-l: Ayes - Mes srs Tay].oraWed3.er9Stra ter, Brutm.,Z orn & Hopkins. <br />Na3rs - None. <br />4 ' Motion earried , <br />Minutes. approved <br />Mayor Endress read a letter from Marijane and Ecltiaard Knat clarifying <br />an artiele w3.th reference to a Real" Esta-te Office from a-home on Ridgebury <br />Boulevard. Mrs.' Knox sa3d that the articl.e shoul.cl have stated that she was a <br />real estate broker with a x°esidence on Ridgebury Bouulevard and ti+rould soon open <br />an office on Mayfiel,d ftoad. I <br />Mayor Endress then asked for reports from the Committees e <br />Mrs. Browm9 reporting far the Architeetural Board, said t,hat they had <br />met-on Octoler 30, -and approved pl.ans for a garagea - " <br />Mrs Hopltir3s' reporting for the Building Cominitf;ee, saa.d that they had <br />met on -the lOth and discussed the Fire Station doors. Mr. Hopkins said that <br />this subject had been held over for further action. Mr. Hopkins also stated <br />that the Buil.ding Corrm3.ttee recommerd that Mrs. Dunbar be a13owed to- remain at <br />her present address pending a settlement of her affair-s. Mr. Hopldns also <br />diseussed the matter of putting a check on the basement door' as it had been <br />left° open on numerous occasions, and was causing the furnace -to run continua?1y. <br />Mro Hopkins then went on to sa9 that the Comm:i.ttee had discussed ways and mears <br />of refinishi.ng the off3ce furniiure in the Town Hall office. Mr. Strater said <br />that there was an outfit in-Town that taok old furnitizre and sprayed it and made <br />i.t l.ook like new. Mr. Strater had no idea of the cast, however. Mr. Hopkins <br />said he taou].d cheek into the matter. Mr. Taylar also volnnteered to look up _ <br />some information, as his comparig did a great deal of this work an shovr cases. <br />Mr. Hopkirs, secondecl by-Mr. Strater, then introdueed'Orelinance No. 640 <br />entitleclr F'An Ord.inance Designating Eli.zabeth Dunbar as Custodian of the Village <br />property at 6609 'Wilson Mills Roadtp, whi.ch orcLz.nance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mrs.Browm, that the ru].es of law <br />requir3ng an ordi:nance to be read on t,hree separate occasions be stzspended. <br />R,on Call: Ayes - Messrs Taylor,Wedler,Strater,BrowngZorn & Hopkins. <br />Nays - None.
