Motion carried <br />Mr. G7alker, reporting for the Welfare Committee, said that he was <br />attending a'class on Inter-Group Relations and hoped to learn something f rom <br />this class; that it was a six weeks course. Mr. Glallcer reported also that, <br />if and when a bus.shelter was erected, it should.be erected on the-present bus <br />stop. <br />Mr. Mason, reporting for the Zoning and Planning Commission, read the <br />Minutes of their meeting to Council, Niayor Endress then spoke of the possi- <br />bi_lity of a new Post Office being built on land to be used as an entrance road <br />to our back area; he: saicl. that he had received a,letter from the Post Office <br />Department asking about set-backs,and,said;that..this.was one of the sites <br />they were considering. <br />Mr. Shaw,,reporting for the Finance Committee, said that they had <br />approved the Pay Ordinance and recommended that it be passed. Peterson said th.at nathing had been done on the Worton Park Paving; <br />that nn letter.had.been sent:to:the residents-as Mr. Weiss.had not been in ' <br />touch.with Mr. Edelman as of?this date. Mr.. Beterson said that he could get <br />the p].ans r.eady_f or:spring letting.. Nlayor Endress said that the holes up there <br />kept getting worse and worse.
